Bellam Gavvalu or Teepi Gavvalu are the traditional Andhra sweet-snack food that brings glory to festive occasions. Sweet shells are the pseudonym for deep-fried sweet and crispy Gavvalu made of wheat and rice flour and spread with jaggery syrup that is blended with the flavoring of cardamom powder.
